The world was in shambles. Apocalypse. If you are reading this, it means you are a survivor as well. You already know the details. The fall of the human race, blah blah.
So, here I am. A survivor, alone in the world.
I left the world of man, and spent the first day walking to a location I believed would be far enough away to make a new start. As I hiked through snowy woods, I saw 2 zombies and a creeper. The creeper got close enough to explode, but I dodged away and was unharmed. To think, this is what's left of civilization.
I found the position I would start my life over from. I lay down a chest and placed the items I had gathered while hiking. A couple sugar cane, some saplings. I built myself a workbench. Preparing for the future, I made a wooden hoe, and furrowed a tiny area for farming. I placed the 3 seeds I had found, and a torch to help them grow. I crafted a couple wooden axes, and spent the rest of the day, attacking a giant fir tree that was a little too close to where I wanted my house to be. I watched the sun set through the branches.
Not feeling safe enough to sleep down on the ground where once-human monsters roamed, I decided to wrap my legs and arms around thick strong branches, and slept in the tree. When dawn broke, I was alive, so I guess it worked. Here is the view from the top of the tree I slept in, facing East.
